Crazy Australian slang - have you heard any?
What about "Fair crack of the whip you bloody drongo!"........what does that mean?
That video has now been moved so here it is "Aussie slang" It is really funny and useful
Well flat out like a lizard drinking, comes from the fact that lizards make a nice meal to birds of prey, such as eagles, (possibly a Manly sea-eagle, which is a rare and endangered species), so when they go to the watering hole, they have to lay as a close as possible to the ground, otherwise they will leave a shadow, which will attract the attention of the eagle...hence the term "flat out like a lizard drinking"
What about the term "busier than a one-legged man in an arse kicking competition?" Has anybody heard of that one?
Have a look at the aussie slang video on the homepage, bloody awesome mate!
