It’s the 29^th of February 2008, the third leap year in the new millennium. Cathay Pacific flight number CX 135 lands on the beautiful runway of Tullamarine Airport on a misty morning at 7:30 am. I take a good look outside the window; all I see is acres and acres of barren land. I thought to myself “no wonder Australia is called the flattest and the driest continent on the face of the planet”.
